Partnership working

On Thursday 22nd January 2026, following complaints of anti-social behaviour and drug misuse at an address on Queens Avenue, Pontefract, officers from West Yorkshire Police Neighbourhood and Tenancy Support teams attended with Vico Homes staff and bailiffs to evict the tenants.

The eviction was completed successfully and was a necessary act through civil means to resolve the anti-social behaviour emanating from the address following repeated non-engagement and non-compliance from the tenants 

The individuals and the address were of a persistent detriment to the quality of the lives of other residents, and their eviction will have a positive impact within the Queens Avenue neighbourhood.
